D40 problem

Hi ,

My Nissan have an issue, after a wile without working, it starts up , everything looks fine, and then after more an less 15sec the idle starts changing bettewen 742rpm and 754rpm, and the sound change also. After more and less 3min and half the motor runs perfect again.
the mecanic dosent no what to do because no DTC come up.

The first thing I'd try is a bottle of Liqui Moly Fuel System Treatment in the tank. About $18 or so in Supercheap Auto. Just pour it in the tank and go for a drive.

If that works (it did for me) it's a sign that you had some stuff getting in the fuel and likely causing an issue on the SCV (Suction Control Valve, it's attached to the fuel pump). This is held on by two Torx bolts and also has an electrical connector. Remove, inspect, reinstall. It should not have any scarring or pitting or varnish signs.
