D40 D22???

Hi everyone,
Sorry, new to the Navara had a Rodeo for 4 years and decided to up grade my work Ute.
I have a Navara 4WD it has the dial to change from 2 to 4wd it is Diesel but i don't know how to tell the difference between them.

Nice the 4wd is on the dial 2wd,4wd and low 4wd, I have a picture in the cluster that shows me if im in 4wd hi or low.
you can change to 4wd from 2wd if your going slow and not spinning the wheels, but I have to stop put the ute in neutral to go to low 4wd, hope that helps
