Hey guys, I've got a 2012 D22, has been fairly reliable except for the SCV going about 2 years ago.

Recently its started making a clicking sound on a cold start but usually disappears after 20-30sec and is a bit jerky on takeoff. Then for the rest of the day its fine, just wondering if its the timing chain tensioner taking a bit long to get oil or if its going completely... I've heard it could even be the fan belts that can make a similar noise.

I'd appreciate any input you guys might have.

Hmm...definitely a noise there.

Was that stone cold start up?

Might be the ratchet clutch in the alternator pulley telling you it wants to retire?

I've haven't had the pleasure of hearing a wayward timing chain rattle yet, so I can't say.
Some people reckon it sounds like ticking, some say it's high pitched, others say it's really loud....??
