D22 engine humming/ ticking

Gday guys, I have a 2014 D22, it is making a loud humming/ ticking noise when I get the revs from about 2000 to 2500. Sounds like it is behind the glove boxGot any ideas let me know cheers

on one of my cars it was the boost solonoid which was attached to the firewall humming only no ticking
i get that type of noise on my np300 when i turn off my motor it last about 10 sec plus i think its the electric fuel pump perhaps it leaves the system fully primed or it runs to cool the pump. (or pressure eqalizing in the tank) cant find a definite explanation on net

no boost solenoid in those.

i would check its not an exhaust leak. otherwise more than likely a vibration issue.
