Hi Guys, I'm only new to this forum and not very mechanically minded.... I took my 2017 Navara in for a routine service @265,000k's. The mechanic found the coolant reservoir empty and found coolant on the front differential housing and thought there must be a leak / crack in the hose at the back of the engine. After pulling the gearbox out, they cant find any leaks anywhere. checked the hoses etc, It has them stumped. They've contacted nissan who weren't any help, and also contacted a couple of other mechanics who didnt know what it could be..... Any thoughts? thanks

I'd have someone pressure test the system. It should reveal the leak.

It would be worth closely examining the radiator. Also check around the base of the turbocharger where the coolant lines connect. The EGR cooler connection and the connection into the firewall for the heater matrix should also be checked (and pay attention to the drain hose for the air conditioning).
