Bluetooth phone problems

Hi, new member here.
I have a Navara 2017 double cab Tecna. My iphone12 connects great to the bluetooth, and i can play music etc through it. My problem is calls to and from my phone. The screen shows the calls being made, but I have no audio at all. Have i in some way muted this?

I don't have an iPhone, but on my Samsung (and Google) phones, I can choose where to send the audio to by tapping on the quickmenu Audio item and choosing the output. I can also go into the Bluetooth section, and in the entry for my car's head unit, tap on the "Config" icon (like a gear wheel in Android) and choose what I'm using the Bluetooth connection for.

I don't know if that will help, it's been years since we've had an iPhone around.
