Just purchased a 2011 d22 2.5td bought knowing there was some potential issues that needed fixing.
Main issue is when select first its crunches every once in a while maybe one in every 50 shifts into first. Though sometimes I cannot select first at all and need to shift into second then into first.
The second issue is at times when coming to a stop I cannot shift into any gear at all including reverse. I have to shut off and turn back on to shift.
I’ve had a quick look through previous threads and I’m inclined to believe it’s an issue with the clutch rather than the gearbox but I’m unsure. Just wanted to get some additional opinions.
