2004 Nissan Navara Venturer 3ltr Turbo Diesel Manual

Hi folks,I was passing/over taking another vehicle and the yellow engine light started flashing on and off,I pulled over 10kms down the road turned engine off and checked oil and water which were both fine,no over heating,turned key on and light still flashing,turned key off and then back on again and the engine light had stopped flashing.The vehicle drove normal with no noises,oil and water good.Any ideas what this could be???

Possibly a turbocharger overboost? There might also be a fuel rail pressure warning. Unless we can get the code from the ECU it's a pure guessing game. Historic codes are available if you query the ECU with a workshop tool, I'm not sure if the 2004 cars used OBD-II so that apps like Torque could query them.

sounds like you have a D22.
read the codes. there is instructions around here somewhere so you can do it your self. only takes a few minutes to do. count the flashes, post the number in the D22 forum.
