Nah wholesale autos can't or aren't interested in helping, I've contacted them and I'm sure others have too. I'm sure it can be done as it is the same gearbox as in the 370z and there are many aftermarket racing cpu's for them. But I'm not in a financial position to chase this up at the moment

That would definitely fix the shifting problems you's have been experiencing. It won't fix the upshift over ride in low.

It's not irrelevant cause if it if the same gearbox out of either the 350z or 370z, pretty much means it's a programming problem and both those cars have been highly modded over the years so I'm sure there would be some after market company that would be able to remap the ecm to fix the shift...
