So i did about 1400k's with the new tyres on the trip all most all of that towing the camper and bitumen and still loving them. Handled very soft sand really good dirt roads really good didnt get any mud :( hence the soft sand. On the road i cant believe how much grip they have even when it is...

Just fitted 5 cooper st maxx 265/75/16 yesterday b4 this I had BFG A/T 255/70/16. I am very happy with the look of these and feel on the road so far and will try them out on wed towing the camper and a bit of mud and sand.

Hey mate I have the same thing I don't know what it is but if I rest my foot on the clutch pedal (not enough 2 engage it just enough 2 take the give out of it) it goes away. Mayb u could try this b4 u spend money. If it is this and u find a fix let me know :)

Did a quick search and couldn't find any thing. I want to put gas struts on the bonnet of the d40 has any1 done this if so what size n length ect did u use or how would I work it out n where. I have a 06 d40 stx if if makes a difference.

Ive done a site search and cant find anything. I bought some standard alloys off a mates 09 rx d40 I have a 06 stx d40 are they the same will they even fit on mine if not does some1 want 2 buy them :)

I think I mite have to. I put a dodgy bit of wire so I could start it but it would have sucked if I was in the middle of no where. I'm thinking putting a blob of solder in it 4 now

There is a moulded plastic piece that has fuses moulded into them that bolts onto the + side of the battery all of the cars power comes out of this stupid thing. It was my fault the fuse blew when I was disconnecting the battery the spanner hit something an blew the fuse.

It's a hard item 2 explain but I can't just bipass it

Ive blown the 80amp built in fuse on the + cable I can not see how this is a replaceable fuse any help please... Its on a 06 d40 turbo diesel

Yeah was planning on getting a shop 2 do it. Does any1 know what's the go with the autos like what's best 2 up grade or what's weak.

I have a 06 d40 stx and am looking at converting manual 2 auto. Has any 1 done this or know what's involved and guesstement on prices. I am keen on the newer autos with the manual shifting thing also what would b some upgrades to the box while it's out. Cheers
