    Tailgate lock fallen into tailgate

I have a problem. Or, at least my 2014 Spanish built D40 Navara does. The tailgate lock fell into the tailgate last weekend. I undid a few screws off the inside panels, removed them and fished the locking mechanism out. The tailgate locking mechanism is held in place by a round brass...

2013 Spanish D40 Trip meter resets

Attspeed, an instrument specialist in St Mary's NSW, checked out the instrument cluster and found it to be faulty. Ordered specified parts, but found they didn't fit the V6 cluster as they were different to the 4 cyl Navara diesel cluster. Nissan dealers had no spares for the V6 Navara...

Unusual issues caused by a failing battery

JLA mentioned above that his mate's fuel economy on his ST-X 550 was 15 ltrs/100kms. Old. Tony, Thanks for that advice. I'll get back to you and let you know how that went. It may take a while. It's forecast to rain the next few days (again!) and my car is out in the open.

2013 Spanish D40 Trip meter resets

Having read "Kvs0's" issue above, I have something similar, but different? I have a 2014 Navara ST-X 550, I purchased second-hand in 2017. About two years ago (February 2020) I replaced the original battery, having read the car's manual and thought I may have lost the auto-up on the driver's...
