Thanks OldManBeard. Yes completely agreed. Next years trip is part of a convoy so between all the cars I think we have all of the above covered. I know one is on the HF network and I carry a sat phone.

Thanks mate, yes we have done a few trips in the old car. There are certainly some nicer looking bars out there but in all reality that is all they really do. Provide some better clearance and look good. I'm still learning the Navara but I am sure it will be a fun build.
