    Glacio 60L Fridge / Freezer

So I chucked it back on 12v and she kicked in no problems. Let it run for 10 or so mins and it was all good so I'm calling that a success. So if you've got one of these bad boys and it starts acting up to j the same way mine has, have a look at 240v first. Sent from my Redmi 3S using Tapatalk

    Glacio 60L Fridge / Freezer

Well, damn near a full year later for another update. I started back on 240 again and no alarms, not shutting down, nothing. It has developed a new problem (again with power), but this time the fridge will attempt to kick on (you can hear it ticking) and nothing will happen. Still getting...

    Glacio 60L Fridge / Freezer

Reviving this bad boy as I now have it running as a beer fridge at home with a solar panel handling the charging duties. I did a dry run and the starting temp was 27 degrees and I set it 3 degrees as the target temp....the damn thing pulled 40ah to get it down to that target temp The peak draw...

    ZD30 coolant temps

I'm using racetech gauges and getting anywhere between 82 - 86 degrees depending on how hot the day is. Not ECU Talk, but it would be interesting to see how the different methods stack up.

Catch Cans (2 sizes) - Forefront Industries

Installed the smaller can on my ZD30 D22 today. One of the hoses has a slight kink in it, but that will be an easy fix.

    Glacio 60L Fridge / Freezer

Bit of an update on the fridge as it has been quite a while. I have had it running pretty much non stop on 240v since December and I haven't had any issues.....until last weekend. The fridge itself still runs, cools and does everything it is supposed to do. I think i have traced the problem...

    Baumr-Ag BM-X20i

Yeah there are quite a few threads around that go into detail about peoples terrible experiences with them. The ones I have seen are mainly the chainsaws and about how bad the casting on the heads & jugs are etc. I would say the Baumr Ag and Qing Long are exactly the same. Baumr Ag do advertise...

    Baumr-Ag BM-X20i

Hey mate, I have used it several times for charging batteries and running a 600w drill and I haven't had any problems with it so far.

    What do you tow?

Currently towing this little guy. 3.6m de Havilland & 18hp Tohatsu (overkill but got it cheaply). Awesome little tinny for taking camping and fishing rivers & close to shore. Hopfully getting something larger that I can take to Rotto and keep this for a bit of fun. Yes it's called The...

WA im coming for a visit!!

Depends on what you want to see, mate. if you want beaches, breweries and wineries then the south west is what you want. Look for margaret river or dunsborough and you should be pretty good. Get in now for accommodation though because it will get well booked up.

    New Clutch NOR

It was a little stiffer at the beginning, but not uncomfortable. Once broken in it almost feels exactly the same.

    New Clutch NOR

Depends on the clutch mate. Standard clutches are obviously cheaper, but it comes down to the type of driving you do. I had an excedy sports tuff clutch chucked into mine because I tend to hammer my clutch when im beach driving. I have the invoice tucked away somewhere, but fair to say it was...

    Our Across OZ Holiday.

Have you to agree with you, mate. The crossing is something everyone should do. I have done it twice (one time was just me and the dog) and it's something you just never get bored of. Looks like an amazing route. Very jealous.

    exhausts

Posted this in another thread in D22 engine, but thought it would make more sense having it in the WA thread. I just had a 3" exhaust supplied & fitted by Pete at Exhaust World on Newcastle street. I supplied this dump because a lot of the dumps I looked at in the off the shelf kits i didn't...

Aussie Batteries Giant Fridge / Solar Battery Kit

I bought a Glacio and I have been pretty happy with it. Unsure on the brand of the compressor on it, but i seriously doubt its a danfoss. I haven't put it through what i would consider serious abuse, but it has been knocked about a bit in the tray and it hasn't skipped a beat. My setup cost me...

    Power to roof

This does look a little messy, which it is a bit, but the wires are longer so there is a bit of a drip loop that will hopefully direct the water down and away.

    Power to roof

Yeah that is the plan. Have an awning on the other side with an LED strip stuck to the base. Just need to wire it to the receiver. Also have a light bar to wire up there at some stage as well. The receiver has 4 20amp relays, but they will never see that much. The power cable to the roof also...

    Power to roof

Very quick for now and i will update with more detail later. I have run power to my roof using 6mm² cable running down under the seal and secured the cables with an Anderson plug which is screed to my roof rack. I have then wired the work lights to an RF receiver so i can control them through a...
