yeah / my 2010 d22 2.5 is exactly the same /// mine has over 400,000 klms though , although nearly everything has been replaced and the mechanic has also just put the egr back on after 180,000klms without it

i live in australia and would deem that amount of rust very excessive , its the bits you cant get to that are a worry - in behind things and joints

my 86 d21 was a work ute - double cab - used it for work all day driving around sydney then sports for the kids when i got home and then maybe adventuring on the weekends - never stopped - i would never buy a nissan again - my bad - only good thing about a d22 is the fuel economy - fantastic

long live the d21/// had mine for 22 years and 700,000 klms - it was a two wheel drive and one day i got it in my head to get a 4x4 so since the d21 was so good i thought i would get a d22 -- so wrong , its nowhere near as good

i dont know if yours is the same as a 2.5 but you could look at a steering arm swivel brace - unsure of the correct name for it but supertor engineering make them and you can fit them yourself ,, once you see how they work you will wonder why nissan never put them on // enjoy your vehicle

these little things can be so annoying sometimes , good luck with that , you just need persistence i suppose

i have gone through two air con fans now -- nothing wrong with the other stuff , just the fans -- first one made a lot of noise before dying and second one just died a slow death- my air con is usually on a lot with the cook in the vehicle and it keeps the dust out too [d22 ]

with timing chains i would recommend the double row even if it costs a bit more.. you will be glad you did
