    Bluetooth oBD2 scan tools

OBD2 cheap. Cost under $4. Haven't gone through all of what it can do but I downloaded a free app "torque(free)" and I like it so far. I think I might buy the pay one as it has a few boys toys features ie a 0-100 time (which might be a bit useless as I've gone up a tyre size and will have come...

Removable air dam for bull bars

Just a thought... Does anyone make removable air dams for bull bars for all the times that we don't go 4x4ing or travelling to a destination along a highway. I've just been hearing how important the air dams are on new cars and how efficient it makes them when driving at highway speeds as it...

    Dual outlets under the bonnet

Looks very neat. Do you need to cover the cables with the split tubing for extra protection?

Got my new tyres from Bob Jane at Tweed Heads. Had a but of trouble with vibrations at first but get them to check it again and they sorted it out. I certainly feel the sting in the fuel usage with these but they actually totally change my car. I can't wait to actually use them for what they are...

    265/70/17 issues

I'm running the 265/70/17 general grabber srl as well and mind are just rubbing on the mud guards when I turn. I also have a 2" lift as well. It'll just need a bit of cutting the rib away.

    snorkel

Snorkel fitted from new so couldn't tell ya if there was any improvement. Don't think you'd be able to tell if there was as the 'improvement' would be very slight. Unless you cross deep water regularly...

    Diesel V6 ST-X down hills

Good to hear that other people have difficulty. Took mine off road as a bog standard vehicle with my bro in laws evoque. Bit embarrassing as he was able to go places I couldn't. His ramp over angle was a lot better so I would end up see-sawing. But on the steep down hill it gave me a huge fright...

    genuine snorkel sealing

Awesome guys! Thanks Tappet! The guy who does them at the shop said that they use sikaflex. I wouldn't have known what he was talking about if I hadn't read this. I'll also look at what widget said too. Great place here. Best thing of all, wifey says that the STX will need a...

    genuine snorkel sealing

So what I am hearing is that the Navara snorkel is just for looks? I am in the process of getting a new STX with a snorkel of all things but if I find out that it has more than just the hole at the top then I might as well not get one. Shame about that as I will now have to consult the minister...
