When I brake fairly strongly to a stop the auto loses drive for a couple of seconds then normalises. I have checked the atf level and is ok. It feels like the atf is forced to the front of the box and takes a little time to level out. Anyone heard of this before?

After braking to a halt quite suddenly the auto trans takes a long time to pick up 1st gear again, almost as if all of the transmission oil has been forced to the front of the gearbox and is slow to return. The oil level is correct and all other functions are ok. Any tips guys?

Hi, can anyone tell me how to drain the cooling system on my 2012 d40. the bottom of the radiator has a threaded hole which is blanked off, is this the drain hole? If so do you need a special plug to access it?

Thanks Tony, your previous thread says it all. I opened up the access flap and there was nothing, so I think I'll go to the dealer and see if I can get them fitted under warranty. If they won't come to the party I'll take your advice and get some from Repco and fit them myself. Thanks again Mike

When you change a filter on these sometimes you have to reset the ECM so it will re learn pressures (resistance). I copied the following from somewhere so it may be useful. Ign on count to 3 Full on and off throttle 5 times within 5 sec's Count to 7 hold throttle down for 10 or so seconds Wait...
