D40 Rough Idle (Engine KNOCK @ Har Acceleration)

White Smoke on startup and light accelerations, black smoke on harder acceleration. Currently the ar doesn't stall at lights or at idle (great news).... NOT. The car pulls really rough, i mean rough. Light throttle is fine, no roughness, but you put your footdown and it kicks back, engine rattles and knocks like shit. black smoke (but not heaps).

This makes me believe the car has an incorrect AFR input.

I have done the basics (i.e ecu reset, fuel pump reset etc) and everything has been replaced by genuine products. Also, no DTCs are found (w/ consult 3+).

Firstly I decided to replace my fuel filter (genuine), didn't do much.Hmmm, then i thought the MAF was beyong cleaning, so i replaced that. Damn she ran like crazy power, like the best the car has ever been. Buttttt, i still had stalling issues at the lights.

Then I went ahead and replaced the fuel hoses and clamps (as they looked buggered). This did make a difference in STALLING, the car no longer cuts out at lights. But now power issue is back. It literally mind boggles me. So I'm going to replace the primer bulb tomorrow as it does have two cracks through it.

I'm just wondering if this could be a fuel rail or injector pump issue (i know theres a sensor on there a relief valve), has anyone had any issues with these, before you ask; the SCV has been done twice (genuine).

What else should I add.... DPF has been deleted from car (ecu and mechanical). EGR also delted/blanked. It has a tilix valve running 21psi (works beutifully). Timing chain done 5,000kms ago, injectors replaced 5,000kms ago. I've basically done all the big repairs to the car so im thinking now it could be the pump, let me know your thoughts.

UPDATE: I have replaced the primer bulb with one from BCF as I think the old one was perished.

WOOOO no more stalling, engine been idling for ahwile took for drive and doesn't stall at all. Still a server lack of power towards harder acceleration, not as rough as previously but still there. Im not sure if its just excess air still in the system. I've chucked in some liqui moly and did abit of a throttle body clean with crc products. Didn't seem to help.

Still blows lots of black smoke when pressing hard on accelerator...

Can you get a scan and check turbo boost? Mine had a primer bulb fail and somewhere in the process of replacing it I damaged a vacuum hose to the turbo which meant very little boost and a fair bit of smoke. The hose was kinda where your knuckles are when you reach in to prime the bulb.

Hi mate, so I've got a tilix valve installed, All vac lines are brand new, all good condition and i regulary hit a nice 20-21psi at all times.

I've notices only on very hard throttle that basically the car will kick back and blow heaps of smoke if I go like 50% it's fine. but higher throttle it basically shits itself and just knocks, jerks and blows black smoke. It wants to but it just wont go super fast and hard. This is very annoying going up a hill, as i cant put my foot down coz itll be black af behind me, so i end up going like 30-40kms up inclines haha....

I'm happy with the progress tho the primer bulb replacement has been very good so far. No air in the system.

So after a day of no STALLING. The issue is back….

Completly cutting out when approaching lights and when at idle.

I get 30mpa which is fine i think for fuel pressure. Im thinking the sensor in fuel rail is buggered. Which is going to be my next try since ive replaced fuel filter, all fuel lines and primer bulb…
