Mate I know its been a minute since you posted this but if you're still wondering, I've just installed one in my ute to be used as a platform for a roof top tent. It was easy enough to install and very sturdy. The tub on the D22 is a little narrow though so if you want to have it set up higher you'll likely need to chop a bit of the top bars off to make look tidy.
