Hi all, I am still scratching my head on this one. My reliable, maintained daily ride for 7 years. Cranks easily but does not fire. Leave for a while then starts as per usual and runs perfect as per usual. Have had trusted auto elec / mechanic look at it road side 3 times now in 4 days - showing no codes at any time either. Have replaced in tank fuel module, BCM and yesterday battery. Started fine this morning. Short drive then started fine again. Longer drive then wouldn't start after stopping. Have banged everything clarkson style, locked and unlocked with both keys.

Has been process of elimination. Now what's next ? Anyone had issue with crank angle sensor being hot and the same problem ?

Any help or advice is much appreciated, thank you

Arrrrrgggghhhh still got this issue and is on and off. Been told definitely not crank angle sensor as it is cranking. Have spark. Any advice be of great help. Next stop, end of the month is booked in at local Nissan dealer to diagnose - probably cost a kidney lol

Hi Ryano,
I assume all the injectors and wiring have been checked. A dodgy crank angle sensor could be the issue but you would usually get more symptoms than just starting issues. Have you checked the flywheel for damage or missing teeth? I had a mate years ago with the same issue, went through everything and found it was a dodgy flywheel causing the issue.

Is the pressure limiting valve at the end of the common rail. Put a new one in and it'll fire up. Mine had that issue and that's what fixed it
