My lack of genuine pictures of my Navara don’t obviously do it justice. My Navara is a 1990 D21 with a carby engine. It still runs awesome and I have a lot of plans for the car. It has a great backstory and history which is displayed with the original genuine Nissan air stickers and Nissan branded toolset that came with the car when it was bought down to me. 1 owner within the family and picked up from the wharf from being shipped from Japan. And on top of all of that nearly everything is stock besides the wheels that I’ve obviously changed.

Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

Nice! Any plans for it? Touring/offroad? Canopy etc?
Hi Tony,

As this Navara is a 2wd I won’t be taking it off roading, I’m sure I’ll do camping here and there though for sure. Currently don’t have plans to wack a canopy on it.

I plan on fixing up a few cosmetic stuff to begin with, some stuff is difficult to find like the rubber seal that goes around the windows and such as that’s worn out I need to fix the gauge cluster as that’s broken etc.

Once I’ve got the cosmetics sorted I’ll move onto the mechanical stuff for better handling. Converting rear drum brakes to disks, re-do the suspension for better handling, front stance change in the process. Later down the line an engine and transmission rebuild to modernize it for better reliability.
