Apart from Nissan and Nizzbits, where else could I find 4.625 ratios for a R180A and C200. I don't want to buy from a wrecker or in the states as shipping will take forever. Your help is much appreciated.

Custom made.

Nissan diff ratio's are 4.625 from memory.

Get the diffs out of a wrecked VG33E powered D22.

Stronger diffs and bolt straight in.

do you mean just the diff center? or could the whole Axel/unit be interchangeable eg the rear?

Yes i did mean 4.625* might have to buy a wrecked Nav and rip the diffs apart. Nissan want $1267 for each diff. I'm after the crown and pinion but if I found a R200 diff that my e locker fits into id use that.

Its looking like im going to order them from the states. No wreckers here in Perth are willing to separate them from a diff and im not too keen to replace both front and rear diffs

personally id just get a wrecked Nav and swap the diffs and be done with it..
..changing the centers is allot of effort in comparison and to do it properly you will need to have all the backlash etc setup by a diff pro....

if you want a 4.6 ratio 180 diff from a Terrano I can hook you up. I believe they are the same, but you might want to confirm (fits in d21 no issues).
i only have 4.8 ratio r200 gears atm, so cant help you there, but once again pretty comon in a d21 diff if you found one for dirt cheap.

i've decided to buy a set from the states, $550 per end is pretty good. Just the wait time on freight is gonna suck. Im gonna leave the front diff out for now. I have put the cross member back in so there is no lack of support for the front of the chassis

Will the H233b ring and pinion bolt into the C22 housing and will the CV spline count match or do i have to slot in an entire diff housing, brakes ect.
if thats the case does the diff length (track) vary at all between these models.

Also unknown how much do you want for the R180 4.6 front ring/pinion.
A bit obvious but i take it the ring/pinion will slot right into the R180a zd30 front diff.

cheers

I guess if you called nissan and compared part number that would answer your question

So I have managed to find 4.90 for the rear and 4.875 for the front, would I have any issues running these ratios if they are not exact. a 0.125 difference seems pretty small to me. I would like others opinions before I purchase. Cheers

don't you mean a 0.025?
0.125 is a decent amount, however a 0.025 is tiny.
I hope it fits!!!!

if you dont mind where did you finds these and for how much?

:)

I think you'll find they will be exactly the same, just depends how many decimal numbers they want to break it down into. I had an mq patrol that had 4.88 which would have been exactly the same. If you count to crown wheel and pinion teeth they will be the same front and rear.

4x4 parts.com. i think it was under 1000 all up but thats usd and not taking into account shipping and exchange rate. My bad with the maths just looked at the nmbers and guessed. Should of paid more attention

4.9 ratios are on their way!!! the Nav is gonna fly off the lights now. The only worry I have is that its gonna scream its guts doing highway speeds

Sorry dude, dident see this, perhaps Pm me.

Guy i know sells terrano front diffs for about $150 complete, i can double check if you interested.

h233b wont fit in a c200 houisng. its much larger.
H233b came in nearly every nissan, get the housing for your car! d21 and d22 have different tracks (d22 is about 8cm wider).

Perfect, thanks the info i was after!
I was concerned about the width of the entire diff unit (drum to drum)
so i will need a d22 rear h233b and a front R180 from terrano or QD32 all in 4.625 so i can still make use of my front lokka.

Cheers!

edit: if you have connections that would help with narrowing down diffs then it would be appreciated if you passed on any details when they pop up in the pipe line.
