Hi Djaye I travelled from Queanbeyan to north of Brisbane via Newell Hwy and returned via Pacific Hwy in January. Approx Fuel 450 liters for 2700 Kilometers towing small van 1100 kg in D40 Auto. Almost 17 liters per 100 kilometers steady driving I was in no hurry.

Hi Waynet, My D40 has the same rattle and if it is a little quieter as the day warms up and air temp increases it could be the same thing. I have advised the Mechanics at service time since new and told it is injectors and normal, they have done pump reset and diagnostics and informed me all OK...
