14psi is the boost from the factory, I’m not sure the stock Hitachi turbo could produce that much. Are you sure your gauge is correct?, a good tuner can confirm this and check your air/fuel ratios.

This happened to me and left me stranded a few times. Ended up being the thread on the water sensor under the fuel filter leaking and sucking air.

I ended up doing this with a Dominator 12.000 pound. Works a treat, I’m approaching 3 tonne now so had to go light.

I’m the same Kevin, that feeling of seeing the light on and no servo close by is extremely nerve wracking.

About 9.5 ltrs when the light just comes on then 7ltrs when the needle just drops to the lower mark. Fairly unwise to run it this low except in an emergency as we all know.

I had the same issue with mine Kevin, if your in and out of the car all day the key eventually wears to a point the lock pins don’t line up correctly.

I’ve had this before after some deep water crossings. I thought at the time it was some sort of earthing problem. Whilst I have never heard anyone speak of this issue Tony’s suggestion is very plausible.

My Air Con dripped into the blower housing and seized the bearings. Probably not what has happened to yours but another problem Nissan was unable to fix and I had to on my own accord.

I had all forms of issues with mine, the body mounts were the worst. The dealer simply could not fix it and I had to keep taking days off work while they farked around. I ended up doing all the work at my cost.

The heat switch is also associated with the neutral position switch, never known of such an issue though. Bringing the revs up manually without the switch would rule out an electrical possibility.
