Does introducing a 10mm spacer to a 40mm lift cause the UCA to impede on the spring bucket?

I've literally just encountered this and came here to ask what others are doing... The lines on mine are strethced at full articulation and so could potentially break if suddenly dropped. However, leaving them unclipped would overcome this. So leaving the rear unclipped is an acceptable solution?
