Ok so I finally had time to drop off the truck and the aftermarket RR abs sensor was bad. They installed a factory original and so far so so good. First day. Fingers crossed.
Mine would not turn on and I replace the resistance pack and it solved the problem. Just last month in fact. My fan would not blow. Bought one from a junk yard.

so since there is oil in-between the sensor and the gear that the season reads i am guessing i have a bad rear axel gasket that is leaking into the abs sensor cavity between the abs sensor and the gear/cog that it reads. would this be a correct assumption?
