Check your battery terminals are not loose or corroded.

It is electronic actuation controlled by the PCM. It's the black box on the turbo . From what I have found it was on the D40 2.5 between 2010 - 2013. It even has a shlong.

All good, have figured it out. Spanish built (VSK) after 01/2010 has this setup from what I could find. Unsure if they are interchangeable. Time to order the right part.

Just be aware that CCT warranty is void if you install it yourself (unless you are a qualified mechanic). Not sure of the legality of this.
